January 2018 month of notes, trade ideas, changes

Michail Shadkin Rules 1) Never average down on a long 2) Can add on shorts up until ~10am (not for beginners) 3) If stock is still above VWAP and in the top 25% of intraday range around 10:30ish - get ready to get out if short. If not short, consider going long. 4) If stock is under 50% intraday range at 10:30ish, don't ever go long. 5) If stock is trading in the lower 25% of intraday range after 10:30 and you chase short, set mental stop at 50% intraday range, and get out if it crosses over this point with good volume.  Consider going long. 6) RESPECT YOUR STOPS! 1.2.18 WATT and KOSS last year movers. Dec 2017 not a good year with trades

12.4.2017 MARA - 5.10 to hold DPW - weak open trap shorts, consolidate over 2.50 and run up. TEVA - over long later over 14.50 MARK - with volume over 8.90 12.5.17 ASTC - over 4.15 and push into 4.70 for a rejection that can be a good short setup. DPW = 3.20 pm hi resistance but careful for 2.80 support MBRX - posib 12.6.17 DPW- $4.10 double bottom. no resistance yet. CUR - need 2.39 support for a long. October wl history 2017

9.20.19 CARP - wont be surprise to see another push if today short will get scarred. risk 2.60 area or if it drop at open looking for lower hi pops DMPI - 11m float, looking for volume to get in, resistance 2.30 and 2.77 ITUS - ss start over 2 and risk 2.15 area or with weak open ss lower hi points.  wl.10.2.17 CAPR - looking to start short into b/o 3.38 area, if open low and drop big at open will look for a bounce and short on that, posible into a vwap push. NO VOLUME NO PLAY RTNB - lot of people got in halt, if will resume trading I have a good felling will drop. GNCA - not huge volume, but will be nice to get some volume into 1.80 are to scale in my short. Done it to early wrong  10.3.17

ECYT had plan this to ss at open volume around 5.80 where I did not. Old bad habits. Start to early of course got squeeze and got out loss. After 10.30am the volume b/o over 5.73. At that point said my self this is not a ss day for me. Better stay out.  As seen Dante blog about % at 10.30am. This was over 75% meaning not a good idea to short. MTBC  I only blame myself how i trade this. Plan was to ss into vwap rejection witch did twice but greed made me hold cause I want it under $4. I did add into pop volume 4.30 area had good avg. Cover my position cause had leave the computer for work. Looking at chart now makes me feel frustrated of how i trade it.

aug 29 2017 WL Yesterday hi price stocks: ABEO, CBI ABEO - resistance 1.26-10.30 looking for a pull back 10.60-10.80 CBI - resistance $12.79, had previous day hi 12.41 MBRX up nice pm, just needs more volume to come in, I would see it with volume over $3 to start short, after all, touch only 2.90 and start pulling back. Made the plan didn't go were I want it, BAA 72% up. history of .74 resistance, looking to test close to .70 to start short.

Finviz scanner day before after market close. $ARWR - it is a hi float company, - cash balance could be short but needs to go parabolic 1st and bring a lot of volume in for that. PM scan: $AVEO large cap, spike .90 pm, looks like $4 had double bottom, Prefer a short into hod risk otherwise I don't see any edge. Best volume day had green run up $1. had 68m trade that day. $RTNB open low Monday,  at open looking for a bounce, volume, 30-40 and then short, vwap around that area. 2.70 area. All depends on the volume at open. TNDM
